Meeting with a delegation from the Institute of Restoration of Italy.

The Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology has met with a delegation from the main restoration institute of Italy Opificho delle Pietre Dura (Florence). The delegation consisted of three people:

- Letizia Montalbano - Director of the school of the workshop for processing gems and the main manager of the project of international trainings. Letizia Montalban gave full information about the history of the school and its main directions. She also informed the audience about the school's work system and its employees.

- Anna Patera - Archaeologist, Director of the section for the restoration of mosaic and gems, Director of the Archaeological Service. Anna Patera mainly gave information about the methods of conservation and restoration of archaeological sites. Working moments were shown during the restoration of the mosaic, and methods for cleaning and preserving the mosaic were also demonstrated. Also, detailed information was given on the technologies of restoration work with sculptures.

- Annalisa Lusuardi is the coordinator of the ITP Project (International Trainig Projects / International Training Project).

The delegates told students and teachers of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology about the institute they represent, about the opportunities for receiving grants and training with them, internships, refresher courses, and answers to questions.

Also, detailed information was given about the students at the restoration institute, about how their educational process was going, what they were doing and how much was spent at that time.
