Within the framework of the project: "Ainalandy Nurlandyr" an event was held on the topic: "Scientific and technological progress: the role and prospects for its development" with participation of undergraduates of the first year, specialty "World Economy" of the Russian department.

The purpose of the event: to show the role and influence of modern technology on the life of society as a whole and to consider the prospects for the development of scientific and technical progress.

Tasks:

1) consider the impact of new technology on the environment and human health, as well as ways to protect against its harmful effects.

2) consider threats and prospects for the development of scientific and technological progress.

Results of the meeting:

As a result of the event, participants received new knowledge in the field of new technologies and came to the conclusion that modern technologies adversely affect both human health and the environment. Also during the event, ways to protect against the harmful effects of new technologies were discussed.
