The students of the Physical-Technical Faculty observed the "Bloody Moon".

31-th of January at the same time was held a Supermoon, a total lunar eclipse and a "blue moon" - the second full Moon in a month. The last time this combination was observed in 1982, it will be repeated only in 2037 y.

East part of Kazakhstan and Almaty could observe of this eclipse process. Also an eclipse was seen in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova. In addition, it could be followed by residents of Western North America, Canada, Asia, Hawaii, Alaska. But South America and Africa couldn't observe this phenomen.

Students and teachers of the Physical-Technical Faculty did not miss such a chance. Students of specialty "Physics and Astronomy" together with teachers of Department Solid body physics and Nonlinear Physics: Kalambay Mukhagali, Naurzbaeva Aisha, Ikramova Saltanat, and Kuratov Kenesken, observed of the lunar eclipse process.
