December 14, 2016 in the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi held an international roundtable that brought together leading health professionals and medical education from three countries - Kazakhstan, Russia and Azerbaijan. More than 60 representatives of medical and preventive institutions of Kazakhstan, service for the protection of consumers' rights, medical scientists from the Military Medical Academy. CM. Kirov, Kazakh National University. al-Farabi, Kazakh National Medical University. S.D. Asfendiyarov, Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education, Medical Association of Azerbaijan gathered to discuss the topic "Organization of a system for monitoring the causative agents of infections associated with the provision of medical care." Online participants of the round table were 15 medical workers of the largest in the country KGP for PHV "Mother and Child Center" of the UZ VKO.

On 1^st December, 2016 at the general meeting of the Association of South Korean small and medium business of Almaty held a ceremony of scholarships to the best students of the Korean studies department of the Far East KazNU.

ANO "Commonwealth of the Peoples of Eurasia", Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Research Institute of History and Ethnography of the South Urals of the Orenburg State University held the International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Humanitarian Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the CIS.
The purpose of this conference is to unite scientists, public figures, students of universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan in a fruitful dialogue aimed at discussing the prospects and directions for the development of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and understanding the importance of studying the history and culture of their peoples.

 MD, professor, head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of Hospital 

Infection of the Military Medical Academy of. CM. Kirov, Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

 Over 40 epidemiologists from DZPP and UZPP, hospital epidemiologists, members of infection control 

committees, bacteriologists, virologists, doctors from various specialties of public and private 

treatment and prophylactic institutions, AIDS Centers from different regions of Kazakhstan

 gathered for the cycle.

On 20 December, 2016 the department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics of Faculty of physics and technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University holds an annual Republican Olympiad on Physics and chess tournament dedicated to the memory associate professor Zh.O. Omirbekov.

DIPLOMACY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN ON SERVICE OF SOVEREIGN KAZAKHSTAN
To the 25 anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 Al-Farabi Kazakh National University - has been an Alma Mater of diplomats since the Republic of Kazakhstan gained its independence.

Master-class of "Translation theory and practice of modern teaching methodology" course on the topic "Translation features of Advertising texts" was held. The event was attended by more than forty teachers from all over the country. 

On December 6, 2016 official rewarding by results of the Mathematical Olympic Games of a name of the academician Shaltaya Smagulov took place. The deputy dean of Mechanics and Mathematics faculty TREASURY of al-Farabi Isakhov Asylbek Abdiashimovich and the head of the department of Fundamental mathematics Sikhov Mirbolat Bakytzhanovich made a speech at closing.Each participant 2 rounds received the certificate of the winner of 1 tour and the participant 2 rounds. Then owners of letters and diplomas were awarded.

On November 24-25, 2016 in Higher School of Economics and business al-Farabi Kazakh National University held the International scientific and practical conference "Crisis Management by Economy of Kazakhstan in the conditions of Turbulence of the External Environment" organized by department of Management and Marketing.

From 9^th  to 11^th of December 2016 the faculty of journalism of al-Farabi KazNU conducts the IV Republican Mobile Media Design "Digital literacy: technology for creating digital content and form", dedicated to Human Rights Day and World Television Day.
