On December 5, with 4 courses of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics, the lecturer of the department Kurmanbaev O. S. held a seminar “Tools of the new time in geodesy” in Geomaster LLP.

       GeoMasterA LLP is a dynamically developing company in the field of supply of geodetic instruments. Since 2015, it has been the official distributor of SOUTH GOODGEING & MAPPING INTRUMENT products in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, which produces a wide range of geodetic instruments: GNSS receivers, general purpose stations, theodolites, levels, range finders, radio modems, etc. During the seminar with an introduction to the South NTS-362R6 device.

       The South NTS-362R6 total station has a large extended alphanumeric keyboard, a two-way LCD display (Russian menu), a biaxial compensator and a basic set of built-in engineering and geodetic programs. Works we have done:

1) Leveling and centering the tacheometer

2) Determination of conditional coordinates of points

3) shooting the area

4) determination of the location of the tacheometer by the inverse problem function from two known benchmarks

5) breakdown of points according to known coordinates

6) Operating mode: Reflector, non-reflective and mini-prism. Miniprism was used with a height of 0.1 m for more accurate observation

       At the seminar we received very interesting and useful information. We were once again convinced that with new technologies everything is simple.
