On November 17, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a competition of young talents among students “we are the youth of New Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the International Day of students. The competition was attended by students of all faculties, young foreign students. In this competition, talented students of our faculty were awarded the main prize, I and II places in several categories.

       Students of the Department of cartography and Geoinformatics were especially active among the young people who took part in the competition on behalf of our faculty. Our students who took an active part in the project in the specialties “Geodesy and cartography, “Geoinformatics”, “natural man-made threats”: Amanova Zhannur, Demen Bekzat, Dlimov Mirzaly, Zhunusov Raiymbek, Karim Zhazira, Kuandyk Bakdaulet, Kuttymuratova Nazerke, Maksutov Shakhniyar, Tajadin Diaz, Torehan Adil, Bolatov Elkhan, Balpeisov Nurdaulet, Zhumadilda dinmukhammed, Kuandyk Zhansaya, Botan Akbota.
