The Department of "Turkology and Language Theory" of the Faculty of "Philology" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a round table on the topic: "Innovation and traditionalism of Akhmet Baitursynuly in the world of science". The event was attended by undergraduates and doctoral students. The welcoming speech was delivered by the head of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory, Doctor of Philology, Professor Avakova Raushangul Amirdinovna, who congratulated everyone on the start of the new academic year and wished them further success in their dissertations. 

Everyone was especially pleased that during the round table, undergraduates and doctoral students, making presentations on various interesting, informative topics, shared their opinions and deeply approached the problem. One of the first speakers was Kadylbek Marys, a 1st-year master's student of the specialty “Turkic philology”, who made a report on the topic: “Research of Akhmet Baitursynov's works in China". He shared useful information about Akhmet Baitursynov's legacy published in China, the alphabet that is still in effect. The next speaker was Gulnara Talgatkyzy, a 3rd year doctoral student in “Linguistics”, on the topic "The Methodological Mastery of Ahmet Baitursynuly". She analyzed the intricacies of the "Әліпби" (Alphabet) method of child psychology developed in 1926, a lot of new information was presented in her presentation.

Other mentors also presented their reports: Doctoral student of the 2nd year of the specialty "Linguistics", Serikkazykazykyzy Akbota, “Akhmet Baitursynuly is the founder of Kazakh terminology”, 1st year master’s degree student of “Turkic philology”, Bilalova Dameli, distinctive features of the series "Akhmet. Nation’s teacher", 1st year doctoral student of the specialty "Turkology", Duisen Gulzada,   “A. Baitursynuly is a leader in the formation of grammatical teaching”, 1st year doctoral student of the specialty “Linguistics”, Myrzabek Bibikhan, “Change and development of spelling rules in the Kazakh language".

During the event "Innovation and traditionalism of Akhmet Baitursynuly in the world of science", not only many questions were raised, but also relevant topics of Turkic science were voiced. The young scientists stressed that the exchange of experience through linguistic seminars, the frequency of scientific meetings are very important when studying scientific papers.

It is in the hands of young scientists to revive the legacy of the national teacher and public figure Akhmet Baitursynuly and present it to the people.
