KazNU students recently had the privilege of attending a meeting with Sadriddin Akhmedov, the World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) champion. The meeting was an incredible opportunity for the students to hear from a true champion in every sense of the word.Akhmedov shared his story of growing up and how he became interested in boxing at a young age. He spoke about the sacrifices he had to make to pursue his dream of becoming a champion. He also spoke about the challenges he faced along the way, including injuries, setbacks, and doubts from others.Despite the challenges, Akhmedov's dedication and hard work paid off, and he became a champion in both the WBC and WBA. He spoke about the importance of discipline, perseverance, and mental toughness in achieving success, and encouraged the students to never give up on their dreams.The students were incredibly engaged during the meeting, asking Akhmedov thoughtful questions about his training, his mindset, and his advice for aspiring boxers. They also had the opportunity to take photos with Akhmedov and get his autograph.Overall, the meeting with Sadriddin Akhmedov was an inspiring and motivating experience for the students.
