The goal

Preparing highly competitive and international journalists, reporters, editors, reviewers, reporters and producers, information officer of international organizations and consular offices , who will work with the international information, select and Grain atyvat intl th information yu political, economic, social and commercial content; on the basis of multi-channel forms of communication, analyze and comment on the events of international life ; create multimedia media content       international projects; thereby promoting the development of a democratic society and media in Kazakhstan.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this educational program it is expected that graduates will be capable:

  1. ON1 to Create media a product of the international subject. To range a mission of the international journalism, to follow the principles of freedom of speech and independence of media and social responsibility of the journalist-foreign affairs specialist, to effectively realize functions of media, to distinguish methods, tools and the directions of a profession.
  2. On2 to Distinguish the main stages and developments of foreign journalism to estimate history and regularities of development, its best samples, to adapt experience of foreign journalism in practice of modern world and Kazakhstan media.
  3. ON3 to Build work of editions as technological structures, to own technical means of printing journalism, to understand specifics of issue of editions of different types and also typology of printed media, to work in the course of collecting, processing and reproduction of mass information in compliance with modern requirements to content and the latest media technologies.
  4. ON4 to Use the principles and means of media economy and media planning in the different industries (printed media, radio, television, new media), the price policy of the media industry; to explain and analyze structure and specifics of the world information market.
  5. ON5 to Adapt new technologies in practice, to own a technique of work with mass information in the multimedia, interactive environment, to create the hypertext, to form content of the web edition according to requirements of relevance, efficiency, a multi platformnost.
  6. ON6 Дифференцировать основные тенденции развития современных зарубежных СМИ, владеть основами работы в дата-проектах, мультимедийных проектах.
  7. ON7 To reveal, compare and analyze different problems of modern society, to establish relationships of cause and effect and the relations, to estimate a role of world journalism in their permission, to own skills of creation of information context for the international media.
  8. ON8 To be guided in professional activity by the precepts of law regulating functioning of both domestic, and foreign media, to be guided in legal aspects of activity of both domestic, and foreign media during the pre-election period, to solve the typical problems connected with questions of legal regulation of activity of mass media to use the right for free expression of opinions for achievement of the goals.
  9. ON9 To estimate efficiency of activity of the international and domestic media in terms of extent of influence on public opinion, to plan and choose methods of studying of audience, to own methods of sociological researches of materials of media, to develop a work technique on social networks for the purpose of increase in efficiency of journalistic and editorial activity.
  10. ON10 To follow in professional activity to the main Kazakhstan and international documents on journalistic ethics, to understand the reasons of the moral and ethical problems and violations connected with professional journalism to apply skills of writing of scientific and research texts.
  11. ON11 To adapt new communication and digital technologies in professional activity, to apply the integrated communications to information support of the international and foreign policy activity of RK.
  12. ON12  To prove a role of foreign media in the course of formation of structure of modern society and functioning of social institutes; to cover the international events, to create materials for mass media in certain genres, formats with use of various sign systems (verbal, photo, audio-, video, graphic) depending on type of media. - graphic) depending on type of media.
