    The main goal of the current club of movie lovers " Let's go to the movie!" is to acquaint foreign citizens with the traditions, life, history, mentality of the country of the language being studied, the formation of additional (background) knowledge about the country, about the moral values of the people who live in Kazakhstan.

1. Fundamentals

     Club of movie lovers " Let's go to the movie!"(hereinafter referred to as the Club) was created by the decision of the staff of the Department of language and General education training of foreigners of the FDO KazNU. al-Farabi to foreign students who study Russian at the initial and intermediate-advanced stages of education.

   The club is in close relationship with other interest clubs and reports its activities to the University management.

   Ways to implement the goals and objectives of the Club are chosen by members of the Club on the basis of free will.

2. Goal and objectives of the Club

     Goal of the current Club:

To acquaint foreign citizens with Russian and Kazakh people's traditions, everyday life, and history through video materials in Russian.

     Main tasks of the Club:

* Formation of additional knowledge about Kazakhstan and Russia, about the moral values of people in General.

* Formation foreign students. sociolinguistic and socio – cultural competencies.

* Developing foreign students ' listening and speaking skills in Russian.

* Expanding the vocabulary of foreign students studying Russian.

3. Rights and obligations of Club members

3.1. club member

• Members of the Club are students of the faculty of pre-University education of KazNU al-Farabi.

• The basis for admission to the Club is an oral statement of the student.

* The reason for leaving the Club is an oral statement from a member of the Club.

3.2. Rights of Club members

* Make suggestions about the work of the Club.

* Comment on the selection of a cartoon or feature film.

* Leave the Club in case of disagreement with the main provisions of its work.

3.3. Responsibilities of Club members

* Contribute to the implementation of the goals and objectives of the Club.

* Follow the rules of the Club.

• Visit the Club's activities.

* Respect the suggestions, comments, and wishes of other members of the Club.

4. Management and control bodies of the Club  

     4.1. Head of club

* selects a cartoon or feature film depending on the level of Russian language proficiency of the Club members;

* selects tasks for working on movies;

* conducts Club classes;

* determines the time, place of classes and makes the schedule of the Club.

5. Changes and additions to the Charter and work plan of the Club

• Changes and additions to the Charter and work plan of the Club are made by the club Manager depending on changes in the composition of students during the academic year and the training schedule of Club members.

* Termination of the Club is made at the request of members of the Club

• The decision to close the Club is made at a meeting of the Department of language and General education of foreigners in case of unsatisfactory work.

Work plan of the club " Let's go to the movie!»

Supervisor: senior lecturer. Aitpayeva A. S.

     Meetings 2 times a month. Visit to the cinema in agreement with the club members. Video material can be replaced. Meetings are held in the auditorium 206, FDO, but if necessary and in agreement with the members of the club, the meeting can be held in the dormitory 14 in the Assembly hall.
