On November 20, Master of the 2nd course of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages ​​in the specialty "Literary Studies" Igen Gulnur, under the leadership of the senior teacher of the department "Kazakh language and theory of literature" Sh. Shortanbayeva, held an open seminar for third-year students in the specialty Kazakh language and literature. The theme of the seminar was the December events in Kazakh literature (based on works by T.Sәuketaev, N.Kuantayuly, M.Shakhanov, J. Bөdesh, D. Doszhan, S. Asylbekuly, etc.). The students studied the causes and effects, the driving force of the December 1986 event in Almaty, thereby assessing the significance of analyzing the works of these authors. As a result of the seminar, students identified the concepts of patriotism, friendship and organization. Their knowledge is enhanced through literary analysis of the works.
