The students of the Medical Faculty of the Department of Epidemiology and Hygiene of the specialty "Medical and Prophylactic Cases" have undergone a scientific internship in "Hospital Management" at the University of Gangam Severance Hospital, South Korea, Seoul on March 24, 2018-02.04.2018.      Clinic Severance is a partner of the medical faculty of al-Farabi KazNU, takes an active part in training personnel for the health of our country.                                          

The internship program was intended for undergraduates as a preparatory work for the completion of scientific research on the themes of master's theses. On the basis of practice, it was intended to familiarize with the object of the study and, possibly, the analytical conclusion, conclusions, recommendations on the topic of the dissertation.                                                                                                              

During the internship, the undergraduates visited the Severance Clinic, got acquainted with the healthcare system in Korea, with topical issues of modern aspects of hospital management, discussed the main causes of morbidity in Korea, screening methods for major disease groups, and the latest medical technologies to improve the quality of human life.                                                                  

The internship base provided resources for the work of undergraduates. The "Severance" clinic employs a qualified teaching staff, they conducted seminar sessions, lectures and consultations, and presented practical guidelines for performing scientific work of undergraduates.
