On April 24, 2020, the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh Naiotnal University jointly with the National University of Uzbekistan held an international scientific and practical conference “Problems of Creating Modern Technologies to Combat Information Threats in the Globalization Context”. The conference was attended by scientists and professors from many universities of Central Asian countries, Dagestan, Azerbaijan and Turkey, including Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor of the Department of Religious and Cultural studies, Al-Farabi KazNU Tursyn Gabitov; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor of Dagestan State University Mustafa Bilalov; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor, Yildiz Technical University, Vefa Tasdelen; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Head of Department “Philosophy” at Tajik National University Tagankovo Farooq Hudoidodza; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor of Kyrgyz-Turkish University named after Manas Jangir Bakasov; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor of Tashkent State University of Economics Ismoil Saifnazarov; Doctor of science (Philosophy), Professor, Head of the Department of philosophy and foundations of spirituality of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, the Chairman of the philosophical society of Uzbekistan Niginakhon Shermukhamedova and others. The conference discussed the problems of preserving the national identity of the Turkic peoples in the context of globalization, the role of localization, the basis for the formation of citizens of a virtuous society, the problems of spiritual values, the modernization of public consciousness, etc.
