On October 14, 2022, at the Department of History of Kazakhstan, the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi KazNU, held a leadership lecture on the topic “Time. Society. Historian". The lecture was read by a professor of the Kazakhstan branch of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Doctor of Historical Sciences Orazbaeva Altaiy Iranbekkyzy.

The lecture was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of History, the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor D.S. Baigunakov, faculty members, doctoral students, undergraduates, and students.

During the lecture, the scholar A.I. Orazbayeva explained the image of a historian in modern society, and its scientific position, also introduced young scientists to her scientific works and research and shared her thoughts about her work in the field of science and areas of research. After were also discussed the issues raised in the published works of the scholar, based on the results of many years of scientific research (2017. Formula gosudarstvennosti kazakhov. At the same time, attention was paid to the conclusions and analyses related to the nature of statehood, the political structure, and the historical origins of the institutions of state power.

During the lecture, it was discussed in detail how the fundamental processes taking place at the world and domestic levels affect our formation, what is the appearance of today's historians, what are the features of historical science, its content, logic, methodology, and continuity of educational foundations.

The lecturer explained that today's youth receive a quality education and become qualified specialists, which is related to a properly organized educational process. The lecturer also drew attention to the fact that during education, only the ability correctly use the methods and forms of education in our society, as a result, formed the educated young people to whom placed great hopes for the future.

At the end of the lecture, the participating professors and young scientists exchanged questions and answers with the historian, Professor A.I. Orazbaeva, and had interesting discussions. Also presented and discussed new scientific topics awaiting researchers in the future.

In general, the Leadership Lecture was held at a very high level.
