On September 13, 2022, a meeting of students, master and PhD students of the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a well-known public figure and publisher, President of the Arys Foundation, Chairman of the NGO "Adilet", Doctor of Philology, Professor Garifolla Anes took place. The main purpose of the meeting is to introduce young people to new archival materials and increase the interest of future specialists in various problems on the history of Kazakhstan of the last century. During the meeting, Mr. G.Anes discussed the experience of researching the heritage of the Kazakh intelligentsia, publishing materials and other important issues. He noted that especially revolutions, Civil War, famine, repression, the consequences of the Second World War and other important events that took place in the twentieth century affected every family of Kazakhstanis, so preserving the memory of these events is our duty to our ancestors. Mr. Anes said that he intends to create a global website called "Joktau" (www.joktau.kz) and attract student volunteers to his work in order to preserve the memory of various destinies forever. In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of History, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Dosbol Suleimenovich Baygunakov noted that working on the creation of the website, each student accumulates a lot of experience, develops research skills and the ability to handle materials. This is a kind of dual training, which will be very useful for future specialists, since they will practice working with sources. At the end of the meeting, the students became interested in the site and expressed a desire to work as volunteers.  Members of several student circles were particularly interested: "Zhas muragatshy", "Eurasia orkenieti", "Muratanu", "Documentum", "Zhas tarikhshy"
