On September 16, 2022, the staff of the Faculty of History of KazNU named after Al-Farabi discussed the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan entitled "A just state. A united nation. A blessed society".

The meeting discussed the steps proposed by the President of the country aimed at solving topical issues, new tasks for further modernization of the state, based on improving the welfare of the population, measures of social support. Dean of the faculty, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor D.S. Baigunakov explained main issues. The main report on the message was made by the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. B. Karibaev. He noted that the main feature of the President's Address is aimed at the socio-economic development of the country and pointed on the main priorities. In particular, he dwelled on the significance of each of the landmarks indicated in the Address, outlined their role in solving problematic issues. The message formulated the importance of ongoing activities in 5 main areas. During the meeting, teachers and students of the faculty shared their views on some points of the message they liked.
