April 23, 2018 in the audience number 7 was a guest lecture on "The international political crisis of 1938-1939." The lecture was read by Dr.Sc. , Professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies of KazNU. Al-Farabi Kokebaeva Gulzhauhar Kakenovna.

The lecturer dwelt on the events preceding the Second World War, the Munich conspiracy of 1938, which initiated the partition of Czechoslovakia, revealed the reasons for the failure of the Anglo-Franco-Soviet negotiations of 1939.

Prof. Kokebaeva G.K. worked in the archives of Germany, read the original documents on the problem and expressed her point of view on the topic. International students learned new facts from these events, including because of the signing of the Non-Aggression Treaty between Germany and the Soviet Union on August 23, 1939. A very interesting topic was touched upon that played a fatal role in the history of all mankind.
