On February 17, 2023, a seminar was held at the secondary school named after I. Altynsarin for teachers of biology and chemistry of district schools’, organized by the Department of Education of the Tyulkubas district of the Turkestan region. Yergazy Amangeldyev, the chief methodologist of the district department of education and Adil Yerezhepov, a well-known scientist-teacher of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University attended at seminar. Within the framework of the seminar, open classes were held on these subjects and their results were discussed. During the work, at the request of the teachers, Adil Yerezhepov gave a lecture on the topic “Breathing. Mechanisms of energy generation in the cell”. Students of 10th and 11th grade conducted several experiments in chemistry and biology and showed interest in science. The experiments were carried out at a high level, and the participants of the seminar were very satisfied.

An exhibition of scientific works by Adil Yerezhepov was organized at the school, and the author presented his works to students and teachers. He handed over several books to the school library. At the same time, the seminar participants shared their thoughts on the current state of the education sector, the quality and equipment of practical classes in biology and chemistry in schools. The chief methodologist of the district department of education noted the results and significance of this seminar in improving the qualifications of teachers.
