Al-Farabi Kazakh National University announces the holding of online conferences of all faculties dedicated to educational programs. Each dean of the faculty will answer your incoming questions live. The online meeting with the Dean of the HSEB will take place on June 8 at 16.00.

Berik Arailym, a first-year student at the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, has become one of the best students in the CIS. At the International online conference on sports, art, education and science "Genius" Arailym was awarded the 1st degree diploma, the badge "The best student of the CIS" and was included in the book "Zhas Kyran".

On May 29, 2021 at 12.00 o'clock at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) held the annual traditional meeting of the Council of the Alumni Association in online format, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Graduates of the Higher School of Economics and Business of different years took part in the traditional Graduate Day with great enthusiasm. In connection with the Covid-19 pandemic this year, the gathering of alumni from different years was held online on the Zoom platform. The meeting of the Council of the Alumni Association was attended by graduates of the Faculty of Economics of different years, representatives of government agencies, the scientific community, the business community, partner universities from Kazakhstan, far and near abroad, teachers and students of the Higher School of Economics and Business.

The staff of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University congratulates colleagues on receiving the academic title of "Associate professor" in the specialty 08.00.00 – Economics on the basis of the Order of the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 441 dated May 21, 2021 "On awarding the academic title".

On May 5, 2021, the Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of " Business Technologies "of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a guest lecture with PhD, postdoctoral student of the University of Helsinki (Finland) Damian Kedziora on the topic"Innovative technologies as a tool for eliminating supply chain failures during the COVID-19 pandemic". Damian Kedziora researches innovative technologies and the use of robotics in business, as well as issues related to improving the efficiency of digital business.

For the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a republican intellectual game “Smart student” was held among students of higher educational institutions, organized by the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business. 

On April 24, 2021, with the support of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan in online format on the Microsoft Teams platform was held a subject interuniversity Olympiad in finance, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the L.N. Gumilyov. Olympiad was organized by the Faculty of Finance of the L.N. Gumilyov. The first place was taken by a team of students of  the specialty "Finance" of the Higher School of Economics and Business of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Scientific supervisor Supugalieva Gulnazim Islamovna, senior lecturer of the Department "Finance and Accounting".

On April 20, 2021, a Hungarian scientist, Ph.D., Professor of Management at the Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary) Dr. Zoltan Buzady, held a master class on the topic “Positive psychology, flow and leadership success? Find out the secret!" for participants of the specialties "Marketing", "Logistics" of the Department of "Business Technologies" al-Farabi KazNU. Zoltan Buzady is the author of many scientific articles and monographs in the field of leadership and management and one of the co-creators of “The Theory of Management and Leadership hrough finding the Flow”. He is the Director of the Global Research Program in the Field of Flow and Leadership.

April 22, 2021 at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi KazNU, on the basis of the Department of Business Technologies, an online meeting-guest lecture was held with the representative of the business environment, the project manager of Smart Production, Maria Tretyakova. The purpose of such an event is to expand the practical knowledge of students in the framework of the disciplines studied. The lecture was dedicated to the actual topic: "Review of outdoor advertising production technologies and instore-decoration".  It is noteworthy that the guest lecture was held at the international level: students of the Marketing specialty of Al-Farabi KazNU (Almaty, Kazakhstan), as well as students of the Altai State University (Barnaul, Russia) took part.
