Almaty hosted the "Kazakh-Korean Business Conference on B2B - Business to Business 2019", where new mechanisms for the development of Small and medium-sized businesses were presented.

The scientific conference was attended by representatives of JSC "Entrepreneurship development Fund "Damu", the national company KAZAKH INVEST, Al-Farabi KazNU Science and technology Park and 8 international companies developing technologies in different sectors of the economy and business.

During the conference, the Korean Agency of Small and medium enterprises and start-ups KOSME presented an international program of technology exchange, which provides for the transfer of new technologies by Korean companies to Kazakh business. International cooperation of "Damu" Fund with leading institutions of entrepreneurship development is implemented in order to study the best international practices and application of skills, successful tools and programs for SME development in Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the Board of the Fund "Damu" Abai Sarkulov expressed confidence that the Kazakh-Korean conference on technology will be the next step to establish a strong and productive cooperation. During the meetings at the conference, proposal was made to establish a joint Center for technology transfer on the basis of the al-Farabi KazNU Science and Technology Park, which will be an ideal platform for technology exchange between the two countries.
