On the eve of the Day of Defender of the Fatherland, students studying at the Military Department of Al-Farabi KazNU on the specialty «Military Journalism» took part in a meeting with the absolute Asian Champion, master of sports in hand-to-hand fighting, boxing and three-time World Champion in pankration, Ardak Nazarov.

The meeting was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of KazNU, where students from different Universities gathered. Welcoming the youth, the Champion A. Nazarov shared his life experience and advice, urged the youth to play sports, monitor their health and strive for the goal. His teachings were full of patriotism towards his people, love, wisdom, and enthusiasm. Also, Ardak Nazarov made a great emphasis on family values, on respect for parents, hard work, self-improvement and self-confidence. «Nothing in life is easily obtained, because labor is a key factor on the path to achieving any goals», - the Champion said.

The most interesting part of the meeting was examples from the history and life of the great rulers, warriors and leaders, which the guest gave in almost every admonition. «We need to know our history. Because people who do not know their history are doomed to destruction, people who do not know their past have no future» - with these words a professional fighter urged young people to value their history and follow the example of great people.

At the end of the meeting, the organizers of the event, the student patriotic organization of KazNU - «Atameken», the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, on behalf of all the students of the University thanked Ardak Nazarov for his active work on the patriotic education of students and wished great success.
