Today, Mr. Abdulmutallib Cetin, an expert consultant in the field of education, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The guests were met by the dean of the faculty, Ph.D, Y.M. Paltore, Deputy Head of the Department, Turksoy, Ph.D.N.M. Abdukadyrov and senior lecturer J. Kabadai. At the meeting, the representative of the Turkish embassy spoke about the high level of interest of Turkey in the education system of Kazakhstan and a large number of applicants from Turkey who are interested in studying at Kazakhstani universities. During the meeting it was noted that in the future our university will attract students from Turkey. The representative of the embassy assured that he supported this initiative. At present, contacts of Kazakhstani universities with universities and research centers of Turkey are expanding over time. We hope that today’s meeting will become the main priority in the field of education and science.
