At the World Championships in weightlifting, Denis Ulanov was solemnly awarded the bronze medal of the 2016 Olympics. Ulanov Denis is a second-year student in the specialty Physical Education and Sport. The award to the athlete was personally presented by IWF President Tamas Ayan. Recall that at the 2016 Olympics, Denis Ulanov played in the category up to 85 kilograms and took fourth place. The winner of the "bronze" in this category, the Romanian weightlifter Gabriel Sinkraian was later disqualified for the use of prohibited drugs, and his result was annulled.
