The second stage of the inter-university republican subject Olympiad on the specialty "5В020500-Philology: “Kazakh language" was held on March 29-31, 2017.
The Olympiad consisted of 4 rounds, including 1 - introduction to the specialty (video); 2 - analysis of basic disciplines (morphological: structural, stepwise, syntactic: structural, communicative) literary (structural and ideological and compositional); 3 - essays; 4 - defense of research projects (presentation). The winner was determined by the highest score of the 1st and 4th rounds.
In total, 36 the second and fourth year students   from 12 universities of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad:

After reviewing the results of  4 rounds the competition commission made a decision to award the following students who are studying in the specialty "5В020500-Philology: Kazakh language". G.Moldagalieva, Al-Farabi KazNU student,   participated outside the competition and showed the highest result in the amount of 490 points. Bayyskhan Aray, the 4th-year student of the Kazakh State University named after Valikhanov earned 482 points. These students were awarded with the Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the first degree.
Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of II degree was given to 2 students. They are Zaynullin Ajol Muratovich, 3-year student from East Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov who earned 474 points and Seytbek Asyl Seybekbekzyzy, 3-year student, from Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilev who earned 466 points.

Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Kazakhstan III degree was given to 3 students. They are Baylabulov Gulnur, a fourth-year student, from Suleiman Demirel University who earned 465 points, Azhbenov Erasyl Kurmangalily, 2nd year student, from Aktubinsk Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov who earned 462 points and Dusekova Kmashat Yerguatyzy, 3-year student, from Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhamedov who earned 460 points.
