World Championships in wrestling among juniors.

250 athletes from 45 countries took part. The Kazakhstan team took the 6th team place.

Three students of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi took part in the free-style wrestling tournament.

The 2nd place (22 participants) in the weight category of 92 kg was taken by the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" - ALISHER ERGALI.

1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Department of Physical Education and Sport, specialty "Physical Culture and Sport" - KALZHAN RUFAT, took 6th place (out of 25 participants) in the 57 kg weight category.

1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Department of Physical Education and Sport, specialty "Physical Culture and Sport" - KAIPANOV NURGOZHA, took 7th place (out of 22 participants) in the weight category 70 kg.
