Online video conference «Searching the ways of strengthening regional and global security» will be held on April, 24, 2015 within the project of “Person of the Month” on the interactive platform «G-Global», organized by the Chair of International Law of the International Relations Department, al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The purpose of online video conference is to reveal different factors which have impacts on the provision of regional and global security in the region of Central Asia.

During the discussion and interactive dialogue it is supposed to reveal the ways of strengthening regional security in Central Asia and also to search possibilities of strengthening global security by the efforts of regional mechanisms.

The results of online video conference will find its reflection in further research and publications for contribution to strengthening mutual understanding and support of international cooperation in the framework of regional and global security of states.

Online Video Conference will cover the following topics:

* The problems of regional security in the context of integrated processes on the post-soviet area;

* International terrorism- the threat on regional security in Central Asia;

* International-legal cooperation of Central Asian states on support of regional security;

* The situation in Afghanistan and formation of regional security in Central Asia;

* The problems of ecological security in Central Asia.
