On January 6, 2021 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took place a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Doctor Sajjad Ahmad Seehar.  

The meeting was attended by Deputy Dean for Scientific, Innovative and International Relations K.T. Gabdullin, head of the chair P.M. Suleimenov, Deputy Dean Sh.E. Kanafieva, D.N. Tairova and others. Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Mr. Yktiyar Paltore introduced them to the activities of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and greeted the guest of honor. The guests visited the faculty, scientific centers, departments, "Museum of the East", "Mahatma Gandhi Center" as well as the Muhammad Ali Jinnah Center. During the meeting, the universities of Kazakhstan and Pakistan, cooperation in the field of academic mobility were discussed.

The Dean of the faculty Mr. Yktiyar Paltore thanked Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Seehar for the special visit.
