Invitation to the cultural evening "Abai and the poets of the East"
On October 23, 2020 at 3.30 pm, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU, the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, jointly with the Persian Language Department and the World Literature Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will hold an online cultural evening "Abai and the poets of the East". The cultural event is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaevich.The purpose of the event: to acquaint the participants with the main topics raised by famous poets of the East, who awakened Abai's poetic inspiration.
It is planned that the event will be attended by specialists from the World Literature Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
