Kokeyeva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for educational, methodological and educational work U.A. Amirbekova and teachers of the Iranian Studies Department took part in an event organized by the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty on February 9 on the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Close cooperative relations have been established between the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Consulate General of Iran in Almaty. At the ceremony, Consul General Mr. M. Faghani delivered a speech and spoke about the history and achievements of the Iranian state. On behalf of the Government of Kazakhstan, the head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty B.Ye. Bolegenov made a congratulatory speech and spoke about cooperation, cultural and economic ties between the two countries. In the evening, a short film about Iran's tourism potential and economic opportunities was shown, special guest artists from Iran performed, and guests had the opportunity to see a small exhibition of Iranian crafts and goods exported to Kazakhstan.
