On October 26, as part of the sustainable development partnership point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Middle East and South Asia, Department of Iranian Studies, a meeting was held with a delegation of Iranians who came to the international scientific and practical conference “A Virtuous Person, a Benevolent Society and modern ethics in the legacy of al-Farabi”. At the meeting, the group, led by the famous Iranian philosopher and scientist Avani Ghulamreza, also included Dr. Khalaj Monfared, Dr. Gholami Reza, Dr. Omid Masoud, Dr. Makhouzi Reza, expert Javad Jalali Kesari, director of the Iranian Cultural Center in Almaty H. Aghazadeh. The meeting was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies N.B. Yem, deputy director of the Institute of Literature and Art named after M. Auezov T. Kydyr, head of the department of the Middle East and South Asia D. Kokeeva, teachers of the department and department of Iranian studies.
