MET MR. SANJAY VEDI, DIRECTOR OF THE SWAMI VIVEKANANDA CULTURAL CENTER AT THE EMBASSY OF INDIA

On May 3, 2023, professors and students from Indology Department of the Department of Middle East and South Asia met with Mr. Sanjay Vedi, Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center at the Embassy of India, as part of the cultural activity "Partnership for Goals". The purpose of the meeting was to participate in the "Visitors Programme for International Students of Hindi ICCR" organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) from May 20-29, 2023 to support Hindi students. As a result of the online meeting, 3 students from the Middle East and South Asia Department were considered for a visit to India, sponsored by the Government of India. Two 1st year master students of the educational program "7М02217 – Oriental Studies" and "7М03115 – Regional Studies" Urumova Togzhan, Zarina Abilmazhinova and a 4th year student of the educational program "6B02301 – Foreign Philology: oriental languages" Dusenova Arai were given some tasks to demonstrate the developing cultural partnership between two countries. The future specialist always needs the influence and support of our foreign partners on the way to the goal.
