Summer school
The summer school "Kazakhstan and India: cultural and historical ties" began its work with the organization of teachers-professors of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. About 30 students from Raiganj University of India, Vishwa Bharati University, Calcutta University and Maulana Azad University are actively participating in the 10-day summer school course. Lectures were prepared for Indian students on the geographical, political, economic situation of Kazakhstan, cooperation between India and Kazakhstan. Foreign students became interested in nature, culture, cities, history and literature of Kazakhstan, and proposals were received from them for the study of the Kazakh language.
