A lecture on “Yoga is a way of life” was held at the Mahatma Gandhi Center of the Faculty of Oriental Studies

On February 7, 2023, at the Mahatma Gandhi Center of the Oriental Studies Faculty, was held a lecture on “Yoga is a way of life” by Professor Chandra Mallik, organized by the Department of Indology under the Department of the Middle East and South Asia together with the Centre for Indian Classical Dances and Yoga, Almaty-Kazakhstan. Chandra Mallik e is a founding member of The Niroga Institute, California, USA. She completed her Advanced Teacher Training, Therapeutic Yoga, and Yog Psychology courses from The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, India. She received her Naturopathy degree from New Delhi, India. Chandra Mallik brings more than 35 years of teaching experience, specializing in therapeutics, nutrition, psychology and Samkhya philosophy through the practice of Raja Yoga. During the lecture students and lecturers of the Oriental Studies Faculty gained new knowledge about the philosophy of yoga and shared their positive impressions.
