From April 1 to April 15, 2022, the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi taught a certified online-offline course on "How to write an application for research grant programs and the pros and cons of indexed journals." Famous scientists of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor G.E. Nadirova - Critical rethinking of historical research; Pros and cons of indexed journals, Doctor of History, Professor L.G. Erekesheva - How to write an application for a research grant; Qualitative research methods in scientific papers and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor B.N. Dzhubatova - "Digital Technologies in the Humanities" held seminars and shared their experiences. The questions raised during the scientific seminar aroused great interest among the participants. Many questions were raised on the theme of the seminar and proposals were made to hold another seminar on this topic in the future. The seminar was attended by teachers, young scientists and students.
