Over the years, considerable success has been achieved in cooperation between our countries in various fields of the economy, innovative technologies, culture, science and education.

Teaching the Hindi language began in 1998, when at the Oriental Studies Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU opened the Center for the Indian Studies. Kazakh Indology is practically just beginning to develop. Teachers of Hindi and Urdu languages prepare standard programs, educational and methodological materials, conduct scientific research, publish teaching aids and scientific articles.

Through the ICCR programs and the support of the Indian Embassy, al-Farabi KazNU every year receives opportunity to send several students to study at various universities in India: the Central Institute of the Hindi Language (Agra, Delhi), Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia University (Delhi). Upon graduation, students take exams and receive official certificates. In addition to the intensive educational process, several cultural and educational tours around India organized for students during the academic year.
