Meeting with the leading forecaster engineer
On April 21, 2021, within the framework of «Ainalandy Nurlandyr» project, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology organized an online meeting with Daulet Kisebayev, a leading engineer-forecaster of the Almaty branch of the Kazhydromet RSE. The meeting took place at 4 pm on the ZOOM platform. This meeting was held with the aim of increasing students' interest in the profession and national values, such as responsibility, hard work, life priorities. During the meeting, an employee of the institution, Kisebayev Daulet, told the students about the importance of the work of an engineer-forecaster, and also shared interesting working moments with students. He talked about how a weather forecast is made, what meteorological information is needed for citizens and certain sectors of the economy.
At the end of the meeting, students and teachers of the department could ask questions and exchange views with a qualified specialist. Kisebayev Daulet urged students to work in their specialty and advised them to be attentive in the classroom during their studies, because the education received during their training will be the starting base for future work.
