In honour of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on May 6 at 15:00 a lecture entitled "Independence and the state language" by Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Salkynbay Anar Bekmyrzakyzy was held.

  Anar Bekmyrzakyzy began her speech by congratulating the participants on the 30th anniversary of our independence, focused on Kazakh history, analyzed the past and present of the Kazakh national composition, the Kazakh language, including Kazakh writing, language policy. The scientist invited every participant of the lecture to learn from past experiences and speak Kazakh everywhere at all times. She spoke about the achievements of the state language of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Kazakh language for 30 years.

The lecture was attended by professors, young scientists, doctoral students, undergraduates, students from Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Turkestan, Shymkent, Ural, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan universities, as well as by leading scientists-linguists from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. The participants of the lecture expressed their views on the topic of the lecture and thanked the scientist. 100 participants could listen to the lecture on the zoom platform, the rest on the Facebook page. The lecture was assessed as a high-level lecture, in which great dreams were embodied, topical and meaningful issues were raised.
