The 29th of March came to the Faculty of philosophy and political science the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies by a meeting with a public figure, with the director of the public Foundation "ZERTTEU RESEARCH INSTITUTE" Sholpan Aitenova, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kazakh National university Al-Farabi within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, they discussed the role of women in politics, gender policy and the place of women in various socio-political spheres.

Students who came to the meeting asked the speaker topical questions on the topic as: How to raise the influence of women from the political aspect in Kazakhstan, how to fight different cultural sterotypes etc. The meeting was very interesting and informative. Women's participation in politics expands the democratic foundations of Kazakhstan's society. This means that women's talents benefit society in solving complex problems. Therefore, a stable and systematic approach to solving the problems of gender development in politics is necessary. This approach will accelerate the elimination of the gender gap in the country and improve Kazakhstan's position in global gender equality rankings.
