The Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invite you on the International Scientific-Practical Conference, devoted to the 170 anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabaev «Poetic heritage of Zhambyl and actual problems of Zhambyl’s Study», February, 25, 2016.

During the conference the following of section will work:

1 section. Work of Zhambyl: tradition and innovation;

2 section. Problems of research Zhambyl’s work in the period of Independence;

3 section. Zhambyl and Kazakh aitys;

4 section. Work of Zhambyl and methods of teaching of Kazakh folk poetry.

Languages of conference – Kazakh, Russian, English.

Scientific employees, teacher, PhD doctorates, magistrates can take part in the conference.
