«Kitap Fest» Book Festival
On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted The Book Festival "Kitap Fest" within the framework of the decade "Tauelsizdik kymbat".
The event was organized with the aim of popularizing books, supporting interest in books and reading, increasing the intellectual potential and cultural values of society, attracting readers to reading, increasing the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, instilling a passion for Fiction among young people.
During the festival, books from the publishing houses "kitap", "Kazyna", "Kitapalemi" and others were presented.
The book festival was attended by library readers, as well as residents of the city.
