2nd and 3rd year students of the Department of General and Applied Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science: Karimbay A., Kurmanali A., Molbaeva A., Sadyrkul N. (2-GP); Orazymbetova K., Rakymzhan A. (3- GP) under the leadership of Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Berdibaeva Sveta Kydyrbekovna launched the psychological-social project “Qadam”.

The whole process began with the fact that students, doing independent work, conducted lessons, games and interviews with special children. And they liked helping children, working with them, making their contribution to the psychological state of the child, and of course, the parent.

The main goal of the project: psychological and social assistance to children and parents with disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, congenital malformations) in the development of the child's cognitive world.

The novelty of the project: for the first time in Kazakhstan, an online platform has been opened for “special” children and their parents. This online platform was opened via the Instagram app. Workshops for children were held, as well as free webinars for parents.

With the help of the "Qadam" project, assistance was provided in the amount of 20 thousand tenge (Almaty region, Zhambyl district, village Uzynagash, father is a disabled person of the 2nd degree, the only source of income is mother, child is 5 years old). In the future, it is planned to purchase special training aids.

We hope that our work done will be useful to everyone, we not only want to help, but also prevent. With the help of the project, we open the way to kindness. As psychology students, we want to continue to reach such a degree that “special” children can freely interact with society and be happy.
