Webinar on the topic: «Psychological characteristics of the Kazakh family»

On March 19, 2021, a webinar was held with students and teachers from the Sofia University named after St. Kliment Ohridski (Sofia, Bulgaria). The subject of the meeting was the topic: "Psychological characteristics of the Kazakh family", based on the monographic research of Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Assoc. Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, Director of the Center for the Study of Family Values ​​of Al-Farabi KazNU, Kabakova Maira Pobedovna.

The author of the idea and request for the meeting is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Irina Koleva, the organizer of the webinar was the director of the Al-Farabi Scientific, Educational and Cultural Center at the Sofia University, Ms. Violeta Dobichina. It should be noted that Professor I.Koleva and Mrs. V. Dobichina are long-term and devoted partners of our faculty and university.

The meeting took place within the framework of the discipline "Ethnopsychology and Ethnopedagogy", led by Professor I.Koleva.

The webinar participants from the Bulgarian side were: senior lecturer, phd, Kremena Yordanova, 3rd and 4th year bachelors of the specialty "Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology" and "History and Philosophy", undergraduates of the master's program "Historical and Ethnological Models of National Security" and interns of the Faculty of History of Sofia university.

From the Kazakh side - 2nd year students of the specialty "Psychology" of the Russian department, teachers of the Department of General and Applied Psychology - Associate Professor K.E. Basybekova, teacher K. Musa.

The meeting took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere, in a dialogue format. Professor Irina Koleva herself translated the presentation into Bulgarian, while Ms. Violeta Dobicina helped translate questions and feedback from the participants. There was a genuine interest on the part of Bulgarian students and teachers in the topic of the family in general, and in the family of the Kazakh ethnic group in particular.

The first online project, a webinar, was successful!

It should be noted that from 2012 to 2019, under the leadership of assoc. Professor Kabakova M.P. several educational projects were implemented - certification courses for advanced training of teachers, psychologists, social workers, with a trip to the Republic of Bulgaria.

We hope and believe that online and offline cooperation between our universities will continue!
