Within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Formation of professional self-determination of students with special educational needs as a national strategy in the field of inclusive education in the Republic of Kazakhstan", on March 15, 2024, the Training program "Professional and personal self-determination: the path to self" was launched.

Considering their capabilities in terms of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations, the participants and volunteers of the project conducted the first training session "My professional vocation: how can I find him?" with representatives of the Public Association "Asian Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities "Jean". The activists of the project saw the greatest potential for their participation in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in improving psychological working conditions and creating equal access to employment.

The idea of reducing inequality in society for all categories of the population, as well as combating any kind of discrimination, was a red thread throughout the training process.

The organizers were employees and undergraduates of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of al-Farabi Kazakh National University: project manager - Prof. A.S. Magauova; participants and volunteers of the project - Associate Professor Kassen G.A.; 1st year undergraduates of the specialty "7M013125- Psychology".

In a warm, friendly atmosphere, everyone could take part in a group discussion, discuss important issues on the problems of professional vocation and its place in professional self-determination, barriers to the realization of professional preferences. Game and communication exercises helped to pump up the skills of constructive dialogue, spontaneity, and gave a lot of positive emotions.
