On September 9^th, 2015 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University Kaz NU. Al - Farabi Kazakh National University held an international forum on the theme "Intercultural dialogue of Kazakh-Japanese students" with the participation of students of the Far East and the Japanese students at Keio University.

The forum was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Professor Zhubatova B.N. During the forum, students on both sides presented their universities, and shared their knowledge about Kazakhstan and Japan. Students visited our country for the first time, shared their first impressions and told their opinions about previous trips to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Presentations of students to continue the discussion about the difficulties and funny moments during the first interaction with a different culture.

The Forum has become a real intercultural dialogue for students of both countries. Kazakhstani students rarely have a chance to meet with the Japanese, such events are very important in the interests of linguistic and intercultural interaction.
