On February, 23 2017 department of biotechnology of faculty of biology and biotechnology together with the research workers of Institute of biology and biotechnology of plants CS MES RK "" My future profession " for students 2 courses of speciality of "5В070100 is Biotechnology". Aim of event: acquaintance with possibilities of construction of professional career in the research institutes of РК; development of motivation of achievement of success is with professional activity.

During the action fact-finding work of students with structural divisions of institute has been carried out. The meeting with research associates of laboratories of molecular biology, molecular genetics, cellular engineering, genetics and selection, cellular biology, cryopreservation of a germoplazma, physiology and biochemistry of plants, klonalny reproduction of plants, selections and biotechnologies was organized.

Students have listened short lectures (Doctor of Biological Science, professor Nurzhanova A. A., Doctor of Biological Science, professor Sarsenbayev B. A., PhD, manager. lab. Galiakparov N. N., PhD s.r.a Mukhitdinova Z. R., PhD Usenbekov B. N., r.a. Bayseitov G., PhD doctoral candidate Kazkeev D. T., PhD doctoral candidate Zhanbyrbayev E., r.a. Madenov A., PhD Ertayev B. E., DhD s.r.a. Amirova A. K., r.a. Madenov A., r.a. Smailov B.B,  r.a. Nam S.) about the innovative directions it is scientific - research activity of structural divisions of institute, about results and achievements the realized scientific projects. During the lecture students have been acquainted with fiziologo-biochemical and selection researches of a sugar sorghum in the conditions of the southeast of Kazakhstan for diversification of crop production and use in the food industry, a forage production and bio-energetics. And also with developments of technology of a fitoremediation for restoration the zagkryaznennykh pesticides and heavy metals of soils in creation zones the prodovolkstvennykh of belts of the Southern and East Kazakhstan. Developments of receptions of a fitoremediation of the soils polluted by pesticides on the basis of designing of vegetable and microbic symbiotic systems; about the prospects of selection of new grades of rice by means of traditional and biotechnological methods. And also students have listened lectures of the devoted molecular identification of a genetic variety of a germoplazma and genes of economically significant quantitative signs of grapes, an apple-tree and pears; about the strategy of studying of cytophysiological regularities of a morphogenesis and differentiation of in vitro for development of biotechnologies of genetic improvement of the major crops and creation of biological products of new generation for biotechnology and agriculture.
