On April 12, 2021 at 6 p.m., the 1st year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, specialty «Accouting and Audit», «Logistics», «Finance» held an online meeting on the topic «First orbit”» together with the 2nd year students of specialty «Translation», M.H. Dulati Taraz Regional University. The meeting was held under the guidance of their lecturers of English of the Department of Foreign Languages: Tleugabylova Z.A., Makhazhanova L.M., Aliyarova L.M. and the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation of M.H. Dulati Taraz Regional University, Yeseeva A.B.

     The presenters Samal Ersinali and Mukhamediyar Bekbolatuly began the meeting with welcoming words and showing the trailer for the film «First orbit».

       Students Aisha Shora, Dauren Omirzhan, Aitolkyn Abdikhalyk, Gaukhar Bayzhumaeva, Akniet Suleimenova prepared a presentation on the history of the development of cosmonautics in Kazakhstan and beyond.

     «First Orbit» is a documentary film dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the flight of the first man (Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin) into space.

     The documentary film was produced by renowned documentary filmmaker Christopher Riley. The film used recordings of Gagarin's voice, made during the flight, fragments of newsreels, as well as modern   HD video, taken by Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli from the International Space Station.

     At the end of the program, the presenters Samal Ersinali and Mukhamediyar Bekbolatuly summed up the results by preparing a quiz, questions in English and identifying the active participants in the event. All participants of the online meeting expressed their gratitude to the organizers.
