“English Club of Song Lovers”

On March 26, 2021, (4.p.m. - 5p.m.) the 7th meeting of the “English Club of Song Lovers” took place on the ZOOM online platform. The event was organized by the leaders of the club, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​- Mussanova G.A., Orazaeva G.A. Theme of the event: " Justin Bieber’s Songs" The event was attended by 1st year students of the Faculty of Law.

       The leaders of the Club addressed the club members and participants with welcoming words. At the meeting, the members of the club communicated mainly in English. Within the framework of the meeting of the “English Club of Song Lovers”, the participants read their reports and made good informative and colorful presentations. The club members sang Justin Bieber's song "Baby" and talked about the author, discussed the content of the song's lyrics and made grammar and lexical analysis. The following club members and students: Zhumadilla Bekzat, Temirov Arnur prepared presentations and made reports about the singer; Student Yernar Sabitov told about the history of the song; Club members Genghiskhan Serikov and Botabay Madiyar explained the grammar of the song. At the end of the club meeting, all the students performed interesting grammar exercises about “Past Simple” and answered questions from the audience.

       All the participants and the audience of the English Club took part in the seventh meeting with a pleasure. The event passed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This meeting of the Club brought together students who strive to improve their speaking skills, and their knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary by listening to Justin Bieber’s songs. Also the member students actively participated in the event having demonstrated a good competence of English language. The leaders of the “Club of English Song Lovers” note the good work of the members: perfectly executed presentations, its design, technical support of the event. At the end of the event, the leaders of the Club thanked the students for their active participation.
