Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the program "Focus on the Future: Spiritual Revival" on the eve of the 175th anniversary of Abay, held a thematic discussion lesson in the 4th group of the 1st year of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, specialty "Mathematical and Computer Modeling". This lesson was held on March 5. The group was voluntarily divided into 2 groups. Group 1 spoke about the biography of our grandfather Abai in English, and group 2 told about the work of our grandfather Abai in the world language.During the lesson, we learned about the biography of our grandfather Abai, which we do not know. In addition, students were able to tell about the work of our great grandfather Abai in a deep and clear way. All students in the group took an active part in this lesson. Each group defended the topic at a high level and with enthusiasm. And I asked questions and students answered. In this lesson I learned about the biography and work of our grandfather Abai. The requisites were at a high level. As a result, remembering our grandfather Abai, I noticed that the students understood the need to respect the legacy left to us in this previous thematic discussion and to promote it around the world. The lesson was interesting and useful. Abay will never be forgotten!
