On February 22, 2023, from 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. the fifth meeting of the “English Club of Song Lovers” was organized according to the plan of the 2^nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The meeting of the club members was held with the participation of the students of the 1^st course, and organized by the head of the club, senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Gulnaz A. Mussanova. The fifth meeting of the club was devoted to the topic "Famous hits of America". The participants of the club were the 1^st course students of the Faculty of Law.

At first, the head of the club Gulnaz A. Mussanova made a welcoming speech for the members of the club. The club meeting was held in English language. Within the framework of the club meeting, presentations and reports on the famous hits of America of the students participating in the event and their performers were heard. The following members of the club below have prepared presentations, posters and shared interesting information about their famous hits of America:

1-group: Sultanbek Nuralem, Satym Diyas, Marat Gulsaya, Talgat Olzhas, Kenes Amirkhan – “Rap God” (Eminem)

2-group: Sailaubek Madina, Nurmagambetova Laura, Taskozhina Altynai, Siranov Nurislam – “Morning Glory” (Oasis)

3 -group: Sapash Olzhas, Zhakhan Asset, Tursynbai Mukhammed – “Mockinbird” (Eminem)

These members of the Club sang the songs, shared interesting information about their performers, and about the reasons why they became hits, and also all the participants studied grammatical and lexical analysis of the songs mentioned above. At the end of the fifth Club meeting, the students performed the song “Morning Glory” by the American music band Oasis together. At the end of the Club meeting the head of the club Gulnaz A. Mussanova thanked all students for their active participation. The fifth meeting of the club was held at an interesting and high level, it was useful and informative to all students.
