On February 6, 2023, from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. the fourth meeting of the “English Club of Song Lovers” was organized according to the plan of the 2^nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The meeting of the club members was held with the participation of the students of the 1^st course, and organized by the head of the club, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Gulnaz A. Mussanova. The fourth meeting of the club was devoted to the topic "Famous hits of Great Britain". The participants of the club were the 1^st course students of the Faculty of Law.

The head of the club, senior lecturer Gulnaz A. Mussanova firstly, made a welcoming speech for the members of the club. The club meeting was held in English language. Within the framework of the club meeting, first of all, presentations and reports on the favorite songs of the students participating in the event and their performers were heard. The following members of the club below have prepared presentations, posters and shared interesting information about their famous hits of Great Britain:

1) Ussen Nursultan, Saparali Yerkezhan, Ualikhan Dias – “Cold Heart" (Elton John, Dua Lipa)

2) Smakov Baknur – "Hey Jude" (Paul McCartney)

3) Yersultan Razalia, Balabek Shynbolat – “Ghost Town" (Jerry Drammer)

4) Nurzhanuly Dauletkhan, Temirbolat Yerasyl – “Shape of you", “Perfect" (Ed Sheeran)

These students sang the songs, shared interesting information about their performers, and about the reasons why they became hits, and also studied grammatical and lexical analysis of the songs mentioned above. At the end of the Club meeting, the students performed the song “Cold Heart” together, and the head of the club, Gulnaz A. Mussanova thanked all the students for their active participation. The fourth meeting of the club was held at an interesting and high level, and the preparation of students for the meeting of the club was perfect.
